TriStar Centennial leadership celebrates with the pediatric ER staff on a successful first year.

The Pediatric Emergency Department at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial is celebrating its first year of service. The pediatric ER opened on July 24, 2017 to support the healthcare needs of the growing Nashville community.

In July of 2018, the pediatric ER was recognized as having the highest patient satisfaction scores in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey for all of HCA hospitals. Furthermore, the hospital was also ranked in the 98th percentile of all hospitals in the country who participate in the survey and 99th percentile in the state. The HCAHPS survey is a public reporting initiative that measures patients’ perspectives on hospital care.

The Pediatric Emergency Department held a birthday party to celebrate the successful first year. Hospital leadership thanked the ER physicians and staff for their dedication to a patient-first mindset and a commitment to high quality emergency care.

“I am very proud of our pediatric ER staff, and we look forward to continuing to serve our growing community for many years to come,” said Joann Ettien, Chief Operating Officer at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial. “Our physicians and nurses are committed to providing high-quality emergency care and ensuring the best outcomes for our pediatric patients.”

The Pediatric Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial is located at 2220 Patterson Street.
